Senior Producer, Pass The MicMalarie Pinkard-Pierre, Senior Producer of Pass The Mic, is a seasoned multimedia and communications executive with more than 30 years of service to the Maryland community. Her distinguished career spans broadcast journalism, public affairs and community engagement leadership with Hearst Broadcasting and The School of Global Journalism and Communication at Morgan State University.
Throughout her career, she has spearheaded award winning newsrooms, managed high impact programming and cultivated strategic partnerships that elevate brand visibility and strengthen public trust. Through continuous evolution in multimedia content strategy, talent scouting and development and operational foresight, she has positioned herself at the forefront of news and public affairs management.
Most recently, over the past four years, she has served as Editorial Producer for Midday with Tom Hall, further demonstrating her commitment to thoughtful, community-centered journalism and impactful storytelling.
