Raoul Middleman is an internationally acclaimed painter whose work is known for its large gestures, its vibrant colors, and its powerful narratives. His work is in the collections of Metropolitan Museum in NY, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, and the BMA here in Baltimore. Today, a new retrospective of of his self portraits opens at the Maryland Institute College of Art where he has been on the faculty for 54 years. Tom Hall is joined by Middleman in the gallery.
This exhibition opens today and runs through Sunday, March 15, in MICA's Fox Building: Meyerhoff Gallery (1303 W. Mount Royal Ave.)
