At some point in life, everyone faces failure or at least an uphill battle, perhaps a discouraging circumstance that provokes thoughts of giving up.
Today we talk with three authors who examine adversity and failure from different perspectives: Journalist Megan McArdle, author of "The Upside of Down: Why Failing Well Is the Key to Success"; Peg Streep, co-author of "Mastering the Art of Quitting: Why It Matters In Life, Love and Work," and Maryland psychiatrist Norman E. Rosenthal, author of "The Gift of Adversity: The Unexpected Benefits of Life’s Difficulties, Setbacks and Imperfection."
