Baltimore-based author James Magruder has just published a new collection of inter-related short stories called "Let Me See It." It’s about family. It’s about coming of age. It’s about coming out.
It’s about the complexities and challenges that we all face at different times in our lives.
James Magruder is the former dramaturg at Center Stage, he’s an award-winning translator, a playwright, and the author of a novel, "Sugarless."
He joins Tom Hall in the studio to talk about writing "Let Me See It."
On Thursday night at the Ivy Bookshop in Baltimore, Marion Winik will host an event with James Magruder and Clifford Chase. It starts at 7:00 p.m.
And next Tuesday, James Magruder will be reading from "Let Me See It" at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore in Charles Village. That event also starts at 7:00 p.m.
