Baltimore County teachers stock up on back-to-classroom supplies, with help from a local non-profit. The General Assembly considers legislation to make Maryland a sanctuary state, while the House of Delegates works on reforming the parole process. Governor Hogan onboards Dr. Robert Redfield as the state’s Senior Adviser for Public Health. And Baltimore launches a new program to track the flow of illegal guns into the city.

Aaron's neighborhood documentary series, Out of the Blocks, earned the 2018 national Edward R Murrow Award. His past work includes the long-running weekly cultural program, The Signal, and the Smithsonian Folkways Recordings series, Tapestry of the Times. Aaron's stories have aired nationally on NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered.
