Two Truths and a Lie - Separating Facts from Fiction
Join this three-part interactive workshop series (August 4, 11, and 18) to explore disinformation, its effects on communities and democracy, and how to counter it. Led by Deanna Troust of Truth in Common, the sessions cover the difference between disinformation, propaganda, and rumors; why falsehoods spread; how to verify information and AI content; and how to engage in respectful dialogue. A light meal is provided at 5:15 p.m. and participants are encouraged to attend all three sessions.
