An artificial intelligence model that can identify patients most at risk of dying of sudden cardiac arrest, at a rate much higher than human doctors can, has been developed by Natalia Trayanova, PhD. Trayanova is the Murray B. Sachs Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University, where she’s also a professor of medicine. She also directs the Alliance for Cardiovascular Diagnostic Treatment and Innovation.
