Today, we remember Pete Seeger. The iconic folk musician and activist, died in January at the age of 94. He would have been 95 tomorrow.

Walt Michael and Caleb Stine join Tom Hall in the studio. Walt is an acclaimed folk musician. He is also the founder and Executive Director of Common Ground on the Hill.  They present concerts throughout the year in Baltimore and in Westminster. Caleb Stine is one our areas’ most respected singer-songwriters. Walt and Caleb have brought their guitars. They'll pay tribute to Pete Seeger the way that musicians do: by playing a couple of his songs.

Caleb Stine tells us he's planning to take his guitar down to the Wyman Park Dell, across from the Baltimore Museum of Art, to play a few songs in honor of Pete at noon. Common Ground on the Hill will hold two separate keynote lectures and sing-alongs in honor of Pete Seeger on June 30th and July 7th.

For more on the life of Pete Seeger, check out this interview he did with legendary radio journalist Studs Terkel in Chicago in 1957. You can also watch the PBS documentary, "Pete Seeger: The Power of Song" for free online.
