Caleb Stine

Caleb Stine is a thoughtful, incisive singer-songwriter who’s had an undeniable impact on the Maryland music scene with his work with the Brakeman and a host of other regular collaborators.  He’s about to release his sixth solo album, a collection of songs that are haunting, probing, and wholly gratifying.  The last couple of times Caleb has appeared on the show, we’ve played the music of Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger together. This morning, it’ll be all Caleb, as Tom Hall talks to him about the new CD, called "Maybe God is Lonely Too. "
On Saturday night, Caleb will be presenting all of the tunes from the new album at the Towson Unitarian Universalist Church on Dulaney Valley Road in Lutherville.  He’ll be joined on the bill by Letitia Vansant.   That show is part of the Tall Trees Concert Series, and revenue from the concessions at the concert will benefit Blue Water Baltimore, an organization that works to improve Baltimore’s rivers and streams.  The concert starts at 7:00.  More information here.

Host, Midday (M-F 12:00-1:00)
