R.I.S.E Arts Center of Baltimore is proud to present R.I.S.E for Acceptance, their second annual community event in honor of Autism Acceptance Month, at Patterson Park, (on South Linwood Ave) on Saturday, April 18th from 12-4 p.m.
This year’s event will feature live performances, an art exhibition, community resources, a vendor market, as well as interactive workshops, all centered around uplifting the experiences and contributions of neurodiverse individuals.

Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue is returning to Manor Hill on Saturday April 18th for the Spring Edition of our Howard County Farm + Farm Collaboration Day! And it also happens to coincide with our Kolsch Release… what a perfect combination. This one-of-a-kind event will feature:
Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue on site from 12-4pm with friendly horses for petting & pictures. Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue is a 501c(3) Equine Welfare Organization, located in Mount Airy, committed to saving draft and draft cross horses from slaughter, abuse, and neglect. The Farm & Taproom will have 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer) on draught and multiple options in cans available to go. All seating on the Farm is first come, first served. We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10×10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends. (if you bring a tent, don’t forget the weights/stakes).
Our Farm Stand (conveniently located behind the bar) is constantly evolving and is sure to have some locally produced items for sale, including staples like Manor Hill Farm Pickles, Relish, Jellies and more.
Manor Hill Pizza Trolley will be open with brick-oven Neapolitan pizzas, salads, snacks, novelty ice creams, and more!

"Resonant Site" is an immersive art installation coming to the Pikesville Armory in April of 2026 (two consecutive weekends). It's a multi-screen audiovisual exhibit exploring the intersection of industry and the environment in Baltimore, where water meets land in the region, by Maryland artist duo Collis Donadio.
Free to attend and open to all. Picnic and family-friendly! Rain or shine (exhibit is indoors). Ample free parking on site.

St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore (SVDP), the nonprofit dedicated to ensuring those impacted by poverty have the skills, resources, and opportunity to achieve their full potential, will host the 20th annual Empty Bowls event, to raise critical funds for services that help members of the community impacted by hunger, homelessness and poverty.
On Saturday, April 18, SVDP will host the Annual Family Event, featuring savory soups and food from local restaurants, auction items, entertainment, and activities for the whole family.
Since its’ inception in Washington, D.C. (1973), The Grammy-nominated African American vocal ensemble, SWEET HONEY IN THE ROCK® has thrived as a performance ensemble founded on the missions of empowerment, education, and entertainment. They've has been described as, “one of the most dynamic, versatile and still relevant musical collectives today.”
Their current roster includes vocalists Carol Maillard, Louise Robinson, Aisha Kahlil, Nitanju Bolade Casel, Rochelle Rice and Christie Dashiell, with Romeir Mendez on upright acoustic/electric bass, and American Sign Language interpreter, Barbara Hunt.
Throughout five decades, the ensemble members have worked to create engaging and socially conscious music that consistently takes an active stance toward making our planet a better place for all in which to live. Their musical landscape embraces multiple genres/generations and addresses civil & human rights, women’s issues, gun violence, death, love, spirituality, children’s songs and so much more. Sweet Honey In The Rock has continuously evolved into international ambassadors of a cappella vocal and lyrical excellence, performing for the likes of Barack and Michelle Obama, as well as at the National Memorial Service for Nelson Mandela.

The Annual Benefit Fashion Show (ABFS) is a student-led production entirely curated by student directors, photographers, and graphic designers. This annual tradition, founded by Dr. Frankie Martin and MICA’s Black Student Union, highlights student designers from a variety of majors and minors across campus.
For this year’s show, ABFS will be concurrent to MICA’s Bicentennial. As a way to explore the history of this institution, the designers have been asked to investigate the theme RECLAIM. In doing so, our show intends to inspire appreciation and action to preserve historic cultural art practices, and to question how we ensure these histories move forward with us. Through research, craft, & performance, our 8 collections explore what it means to acknowledge our roots as artists and take them into the future.

Internationally renowned dance company, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, will make a rare visit to the East Coast, hosting public workshops, masterclasses and a full length dance concert. For 48 years, Hubbard Street has been one of the most original forces in contemporary dance—bringing top choreographers and works to Chicago and beyond. Hubbard Street’s ever-evolving repertory, created by today’s leading choreographic voices, makes us a company that dancers aspire to join and performance venues all over the world are eager to present. To date, the main company has performed globally in 19 countries and 44 U.S. states.
In 2021, former company dancer Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell was named the fourth Artistic Director of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
