Songstress Vivian Taylor was born, educated, raised in SE Washington DC. She graduated from Ballou, with a BA of Arts and Sciences Music Classical Vocal Performance, a minor Education, a Master of Fine Arts Vocal performance, and a Master of Art Music Conduction and composition from Howard University. Vivian is a member of the 100 top college vocalists of America, class of 2001 and 2002. She is a background artist to Queen Latifah, Beyoncé’s 2005 Kennedy Center Honors, AL Greene, Rahsaan Patterson, Melissa Etheridge & Yolanda Adams. She starred in Rent on Broadway in New York, seasons 2005-2008, as well as a member of the Washington Opera and a current member of the DeMoine, Iowa traveling opera company. Truly a classical vocalist around the world!!
