Make Studio is proud to present Baltimore’s 3rd Annual Disability Pride Arts Fest!

Baltimore, MD – Make Studio is excited to announce our third Disability Pride Arts Fest, which for its second year will again be presented in partnership with the Maryland
Department of Disabilities and Enoch Pratt Free Library. This year twenty independent artists, disability services programs, and arts organizations will present special performances, free and inclusive arts experiences, and resources at the Central Library in its grand entry hall.
Disability Pride Month marks the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is all about accepting each person’s uniqueness and honoring the history, achievements, experiences, and struggles of the disability community. Confirmed participating artists and organizations are:
Barrier-Free of Maryland, Hannah Dougherty Down Syndrome Association of Maryland, Camilla Gu, Brian High, Itineris, Jennifer Johnson-White, Louis Middleton (Make Studio), Maryland ABLE, Pathfinders for Autism, Rhythm Express, Rhythm Key, Studio In-Sight, TALMAR, Telecommunications Access of MD/MDOD, Walking Discovery, Walters Art Museum, VisAbility Arts Lab, and Zoe's Just Dezzerts.
All are invited to this free event, to come together to learn and to celebrate creativity, human diversity, and people with disabilities and their many contributions to society. The event runs from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 12.
