Leadership Howard County, which seeks to empower leaders to strengthen and transform the community, will hold A Night of Illuminating Leadership on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event will feature award presentations and a comedic performance at the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College.

At the event, Leadership Howard County will present the Key Community Leader Award to E. Randolph Marriner, a serial entrepreneur and real estate developer. The event benefits Leadership Howard County and its programs. Early bird tickets cost $100 until Oct. 1 and $95 for nonprofits with fewer than 25 employees. Beginning Oct. 2, all tickets cost $130.
