We are a nation of families and communities in urban, suburban, and rural areas. Research has revealed that climate issues impact the quality of life in American communities. The GOOD News is the Environmental Protection Agency has announced a new program to support and enhance Climate-Resilient Communities across the nation.

Dr. Chavis is African American civil rights leader and icon, United Church of Christ (UCC) ordained minister, author, journalist, organic chemist, environmentalist, global entrepreneur, and currently President and CEO of the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) based in Washington, DC since 2014.
