Personalized guns, or smart guns, are firearms designed to operate only for their authorized users. Gun control activists argue that these types of weapons could save thousands of lives a year. We'll look at smart gun technology and their policy implications with Stephen Teret, co-author of a new Abell Report on smart guns, and the founding director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Policy and Research; and the director of the Hopkins Center for Law and the Public's Health.
