Every day in Baltimore, neighborhood leaders are transforming forgotten lots into thriving gardens, rebuilding playgrounds into safe havens, and turning neglected spaces into community gathering places. They've got the vision, the volunteers, and the drive—but sometimes they're missing the tools to make it happen.

That's where the Baltimore Community ToolBank steps in. We load up their trucks with clean, sharp, and ready-to-use tools that turn dreams into impact. In 2024 alone, we helped over 300 organizations save more than $3 million—dollars that went straight back into feeding families, housing neighbors, and strengthening communities.

To honor a century of service and driving positive change across Greater Baltimore, United Way of Central Maryland will host a Centennial Benefit Concert featuring multi-award-winning artist Common; legendary dance-music vocalist CeCe Peniston; and local artists Elyscia Jefferson of The Voice, Whiskey Feathers, and the Baltimore City College Choir.

For 100 years, United Way of Central Maryland has been a catalyst for long-term, positive change – serving the region through natural disasters, wars, civil unrest, health crises, government shutdowns, and more. The evening of giving back to and celebrating the spirit of our community will feature moving performances, tributes to local changemakers, and more. A portion of each ticket sold supports the expansion of United Way’s work to build stronger lives and neighborhoods in the region.

This event isn’t just about dressing up; it’s about standing in solidarity with survivors, sharing their stories, and raising awareness for the cause. We’re making an impact, and we want YOU to be part of it.

Join us for Evening on the Falls, a special event marking Blue Water Baltimore’s 15th anniversary along the Jones Falls River. We’ll honor the progress made over the past 15 years and invest in the work still ahead to ensure a healthier, more resilient future for Baltimore’s waterways. You can look forward to:

Proceeds from the event support Blue Water Baltimore’s mission to restore the health of our waterways through community-based restoration, advocacy, and water quality monitoring.

The Pennsylvania Avenue Black Arts & Entertainment District will present its culminating marquee event of the year, The Soul Soirée – A Night of Music & Poetry, on Saturday, October 25th, from 6pm to 10pm. The Soul Soirée is more than an event—it’s a testament to the power of Black creativity and cultural legacy in Baltimore. All proceeds will directly support the Black Arts District’s 2026 programming, ensuring another year of transformative arts initiatives, community-centered programming, and creative economic development.

Join Girl Scouts for their annual networking fundraiser which this year recognizes 6 outstanding women professionals from the central Maryland area. The evening includes a silent auction, buffet and cocktails. Proceeds from the event support leadership programming for Girl Scouts in grades K-12 who reside throughout central Maryland.
