Unmatched Athlete, in partnership with Movement Hampden and supporting businesses at Union Collective, invites the public to celebrate the 3rd Annual Union Collective Pride event on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 1:30pm to 9pm. This all-day fundraiser aims to support Unmatched Athlete's mission of promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion in sports and assisting the organization's staff and coaches. https://UnmatchedAthlete.org/UnionCollectivePride

Event Activities

1. Youth Climbing Day (1:30pm - 4pm)

LGBTQ+ and ally youths aged 5-18 are invited to enjoy a free day of bouldering at Movement Hampden. Kids aged 5-12 can participate from 1:30pm to 2:30pm, while teens aged 13-18 can join from 3pm to 4pm. In addition, The Charmery will offer a build your own waffle cone creature Arts and Crafts activity for the younger group from 1:30pm - 3pm.

2. Open Mic (5pm - 6:30pm)

An open mic event themed "High School; Let's talk About It" will be held at The Wine Collective for participants aged 16 and above. Participants interested are free to share stories and poems of self discovery being LGBTQ+ (openly and/or not) in high school. Any poems and/or stories should cover areas in sports & the outdoors; arts & theatre; and relationships. Parent(s) discretion is advised for teens attending the event and is free to attend

3. Drag Show (7pm - 9pm)

A drag show featuring talented performers will take place at Union Craft Brewing for adults. The event is free to attend.

Fundraising and Support

Throughout the day, attendees can support Unmatched Athlete by purchasing raffle tickets at $5 for one ticket or $10 for three tickets. Attendees can purchase multiple raffle tickets! Prizes include gift packages from various Union Collective businesses.
