This training is designed to equip mental health clinicians with practical tools to better recognize, understand, and support clients diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. Participants will learn to differentiate between Bipolar I, Bipolar II, and related mood disorders; identify key symptoms including manic, hypomanic, and depressive episodes; and understand the basics of common psychiatric medications and their side effects. The session emphasizes how non-prescribing clinicians can skillfully observe, document, and communicate clinical changes while staying within their professional scope and effectively collaborating with prescribing providers.
