A Summer Celebration of America's Music
SODELO, Southern Delaware's own orchestra, presents "A Summer Celebration of America's Music," featuring works by beloved American composers on Saturday, July 20th at 3 PM at Cape Henlopen High School, 1270 Kings Highway, Lewes, DE. Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for students, and children ages 10 and under admitted free.
These performances will be under the baton of guest conductor Stephen Czarkowski, an internationally recognized conductor and cellist. The program includes works by some of America's greatest composers, including Irving Berlin, Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, Richard Rogers and John Williams.
If you can't make it July 20th, see SODELO' listing for 7/19 at Milford High School, 1019 N. Walnut Street. At the Milford venue, veterans, teachers and students can order free tickets. Other tickets are $25 each. The orchestra will also debut at Freeman Stage at 7 PM on August 12th; the Freeman concert will feature a few surprises.
