President Barack Obama issued an executive order last night promising that, at least for now, about five million people who entered the country illegally will not face deportation. Joining Sheilah is Yesenia Mejia, who lives in Baltimore. She entered the country illegally from Mexico more than a decade ago. Sheilah is also joined by Elizabeth Alex, lead organizer for the Central Maryland region for Casa de Maryland, an immigrant advocacy group, as well as Van Doan, an immigration lawyer in Columbia.
Plus, Sheilah speaks with Daniel Webster, Director of the Center for Gun Policy and Research at Johns Hopkins University, Attorney General-elect Brian Frosh, and Lauren Baraldi, the Chief of the Gun Violence Task Force for the District Attorney in Philadelphia about Maryland's gun laws.
Then, Tom Hall speaks with Doreen Bolger, the director of the Baltimore Museum of Art. They discuss the museum's 100th anniversary.
