Vision Technologies Inc., a local IT company with revenue over $120 million, is looking for a new headquarters after a deal to move to Hanover fell apart.
Vision Technologies has about 500 employees spread across its headquarters and satellite offices in Northern Virginia and Nevada. The headquarters is located in 31,000 square feet at 530 McCormick Drive. The company had plans last year to move from Glen Burnie to Hanover and create 100 new jobs. Vision Technologies was slated to receive a $300,000 conditional loan through the Maryland Economic Development Assistance Authority and Fund. The state's Department of Commerce also planned to provide a $20,000 training grant through the Partnership for Workforce Quality program. Anne Arundel County also proposed tax credits for creating new jobs.
