Gallery 1448 presents OctoberWorks, an annual group exhibition. This year’s show features new work from some of our favorite 1448 artists: Leslie Schwing, Laura Vernon Russell, Claudia Bismark, and Dan Brown, along with special guests Dave DeRan and Ruth Channing.
DeRan (Delta, PA), is well-known for his naturalist paintings, unique found object sculptures and his fabulous bass playing. Channing, owner of Baltimore’s Ink Spot Press, exhibits her new limited-run Tarot Card Deck.
Join us for a garden party reception, featuring live music by Fells Point Hootenanny.

And to cap it off, the return of the iconic all-orange uniforms will be featured on select Saturday home games.

If you are looking for something fun to do with the kids this October that won’t scare them and is appropriate for any age, we are the place for you! Come join us 6pm to 10pm for our annual walking Trail of Jack-O-Lanterns of all shapes & sizes. Admission is $16.00, credit only ages 2 and older (babies are free) & includes our Trail, fire pits, fun farm show, and our Animal Barn (open 6pm to 9:00pm.) to see your furry friends. Admission will also include trick or treating for children from 7pm to 8pm. The Trail closes at 9pm. Bring your children (and your adults) in costume to add to the fun! Available for purchase will be night hayrides, pumpkin flashlights, Trick or Treat bags, glow necklaces, and more! Gates open 5:30pm. Last admission is 8:30pm. Dates: Oct 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26, 2025 (weather permitting) NOTE: The Trail is a separate event from our daytime petting farm and requires a separate, new admission to enter.

One of Maryland’s scariest haunted houses and a Baltimore Halloween tradition since 2016, The Nevermore Haunt also features spectacular sideshow performance and an outdoor bar featuring local beers and custom cocktails.

Washington, DC’s premier showcase for rising stars and comedy icons — returns for its third year this October 10–12 at The Wharf. Named one of USA Today’s “Top 10 New Events” in its debut year, BTF has quickly become a highlight of the city’s cultural calendar.
This year’s lineup features headliners Sommore, the “Queen of Comedy,” and Jay Pharoah, joined by special guests like Tisha Campbell and a wave of emerging stand-up talent. Festival highlights include the flagship Breakout Comedian of the Year Competition hosted by Pharoah, where national finalists compete for a $10,000 grand prize and a shot at Hollywood representation, the Hey Ladies Comedy Experience hosted by Sommore, local comedy showcases, panels, and screenings.
