The 2nd Annual Maryland Holiday Light Spectacular features over a million spectacular lights, larger-than-life holiday scenes, including Mistletoe Marina, Jinglebell Junction Farm, the Symphony of Illumination, a Winter Wonderland Carnival complete with a Ferris Wheel, Merry Go Round, and other rides plus many more attractions. New this year, guests can enjoy new scenes on the ½ mile walking trail along with the Cosmic Heat Zone and Buddy’s Holiday Bar in VIP. Advance Tickets are strongly encouraged as some nights will SELL OUT.
Pathways will be safe and accessible, making them suitable for scooters, strollers, and wheelchairs.
The charming Holiday Village will be bustling with boutiques, shops, and rotating food trucks, offering seasonal treats and unique gifts. Little ones will have plenty to enjoy with activities and other fun attractions, such as the Carnival rides and seesaws. And, of course, no holiday celebration would be complete without a visit from Santa, who will be making nightly appearances through December 23rd. NEW THIS YEAR – The festive atmosphere will be enhanced by special performances every night from ballerinas, other entertainers, and Elves (from the North Pole), adding a touch of elegance and wonder to the experience.

Get ready to get into the holiday spirit! Join Royal Sonesta Harbor Court, American Limousine and Baltimore Rent-a-Tour as they present the Holly Jolly Trolley. Beginning Friday, November 28 and continuing until Sunday, December 28, the Holly Jolly Trolley takes ticket holders on a 90-minute narrated tour in and around the city to experience festive light displays and neighborhood decorations while also learning about local history. (check schedule for exact times and dates or sold-out dates) Neighborhoods featured in the tour include Downtown Baltimore, Harbor East, Fells Point, Mt. Vernon and Hampden’s famous 34th Street Christmas Festival of Lights. Tours are scheduled for 6 & 8 p.m. and tickets are $39.50 for adults (13+) and $34.00 for kids (children under 13; kids 4 and under ride free on a parents lap). Advance tickets are required. The trolley embarks and disembarks from Royal Sonesta Harbor Court’s front entrance, located at 550 Light Street. Ticket holders are requested to arrive thirty minutes prior to departure to safely load onto the vehicle. Explorers Restaurant, located on the hotel’s 2nd floor, will be offering guests a special 15% off dinner and/or food in the bar with the purchase of a tour ticket. Discounted parking ($10) will be available for the hotel garage by presenting your vehicle license number to the front desk.

Winter break is the best time to build, invent and play! FutureMakers designs and manufactures hands-on playful engineering kits for classrooms across the US. We open our lab a few times a year for special play and exploration sessions, and we invite your child(ren) to join in for some purposeful winter break play!
We're offering AM sessions for younger learners, and PM sessions for mixed ages. Join in on one or all of our winter Maker Break sessions. Each two-hour AM workshop will activate a different theme:
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Ages 5 - 7Monday 12/29 - Super Structures - building small and tall with lines and shapesTuesday 12/30 - Kinetic Creatures - Invent moving creatures using levers, linkages, and pneumatics. Wednesday 12/31 - Let's Roll - inventing machines that roll using axles, wheels and wind-up mechanismsFriday 12/2 - Electric Seen - machines that spin and mix colors and images in your eyeballs.
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM - Ages 7+Monday 12/29 - Scene Machines - Explore linkages and systems of moving parts to create mechanisms that do work, or creatures that move. Tuesday 12/30 - Story Machines - Create machines with screens that turn your drawings into scrolls that unwind and tell a story. Wednesday 12/31 - WiggleBots- Create inventions that wiggle and draw using mechanical vibration produced by electric motors. Friday 12/2 - Rolling and Flying - machines that roll and fly using motors and propellers.
Notes:All project materials includedPlease have your learner bring a snack and a drink for brain break time. This is for children ages 5 - 7 with prior group learning experience. Same-day registrations are welcome - open on a first-come, first-served basis.You're welcome to sign up for one or all drop in sessions.
Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous (FA) is a free Twelve Step recovery program for anyone suffering from food obsession, overeating, under-eating, bulimia or other food-related issues.
