BARCStoberfest is a beloved annual festival and fundraiser that brings together pets, families, and the community to support the lifesaving programs of the Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS). Through individual and team fundraising, BARCStoberfest provides critical funding for Maryland’s largest open-admission animal shelter, which cares for and rescues 11,000–12,000 animals each year. This pet-friendly celebration features our popular 5K Run and Half-Mile Pet Parade, a lively beer garden with live music, Halloween costume contests, a local food truck rally, a shopping market, and so much more. Join us in raising vital funds for animals in need across our community.

The Baltimore Bead Society's 5th Annual Artisan MarketPlace will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 3:30 PM. This anticipated event brings together talented artists, jewelry makers, and bead enthusiasts from across the region to showcase and sell their handcrafted creations in a vibrant community setting

Saturday matinee double feature—Ghoulies + Demons (both 1985)—inside a brewery turned haunted hangout. Expect immersive décor, a preshow vibe, and vintage Halloween commercial breaks woven into each feature. GA & VIP available; Day/Weekend passes

Step into autumn with Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue at our 4th Annual Fall Festival on Saturday, October 25th — held right on our beautiful working farm, surrounded by our magnificent draft horses!
Experience the magic of fall with live music, thrilling mounted archery demonstrations, mouthwatering eats from local food & beer trucks, classic carnival-style games, and cozy hay rides through the fields. And yes — our gentle giant draft horses will be all around you as part of the experience!
Every moment of fun helps fuel our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome these incredible horses. Come celebrate, support a great cause, and make unforgettable memories on the farm.

The Rotunda Welcomes Back Popular Family-Friendly Concert Series this May
3rd Annual Rotunda Rocks Begins Friday, May 2 and Runs Every Friday through Friday, October 3

Grab a blanket or dust off your favorite portable chair and head on over to Hampden this spring for the return of the popular family-friendly concert series, the 3rd Annual Rotunda Rocks. This FREE weekly concert series, presented by MCB Real Estate, features live music on the Plaza and a street festival atmosphere with delicious local food and drinks, fun games and local vendors and will take place Fridays, 6-9 p.m. beginning May 2 and running until October 3. (711 West 40th Street). Whether you like rock n ’roll, folk, bluegrass, Indie, Latin, Celtic or reggae music, there is something for everyone and the event is open to the public.
