The Storage Unit Collective was established in 2016 by Raymond J. Spence in Hampton Roads Virginia. The uniqueness of the name is correlated to the space this collective would rehearse. Frequently while playing, fellow musicians would stop by to collaborate. With that in mind, Spence created the collective to offer a space for musicians to organically create without the stress of committing to a group. While many musicians have collaborated since the inception of the collective, its core members are: Raymond J. "Toxic" Spence, Sheritta “Love” Harris, Camille "C.Jai" Scott & Jordan "Pimpspy" Estevao.

The United States Naval Academy Band proudly presents a performance of the iconic jazz album Birth of the Cool. This concert celebrates 2026 as the 250th year in the history of the United States of America and the 100th anniversary of the birthday of one of the most important and influential American musicians, Miles Davis (1926-1991). The ethereal, and at times mysterious, Birth of the Cool arrangements by Gil Evans, Gerry Mulligan (and others) featured Davis surrounded by a distinct instrumentation, including the non-common jazz instruments of French Horn and Tuba. Join us as we commemorate 250 years of the United States, America's classical music, and the centennial of this iconic American artist, Miles Davis!
The United States Naval Academy Band was formed in November of 1852 by order of the Secretary of the Navy. The band’s primary mission is to provide musical support to the Superintendent, Commandant, and Brigade of Midshipmen. These dedicated professionals are known across the nation as “The Navy’s Oldest and Finest Band!” Our members have studied at prominent music schools and conservatories nationwide and have extensive experience in performance and teaching. The Naval Academy Band takes pride in representing the Naval Academy’s tradition of excellence.

In 1994, Greg met Joey DeFranscesco who told him the Hammond B-3 was enjoying a popular renaissance. He formed the Greg Hatza ORGANization and has been performing and recording on the instrument non-stop since that time. With the trend towards more advanced electronic keyboard and rhythms now, Greg adapted to the trend, switching from the Hammond B-3 to the electric keyboard and piano.
In the late sixties, Baltimore was still an organ town and had its share of great players. It was here that Greg really got a chance to hone his jazz organ skills by playing with the best musicians in town. Lenny’s club was a great stopping point for national jazz artists who came to Baltimore to perform. He also met and got to play in jam sessions with such personalities as Kenny Burrell, Groove Holmes, Damita Joe, Philly Joe Jones, Roland Kirk, Les McCann, James Moody, and Sonny Stitt.

"Her celestial vocal register and authentic lyrics place her in a lane that few can occupy." — Soulbounce
Savor an angelic and romantic evening with DC-based vocalist and songwriter Cecily, (pronounced ses-suh-lee), who is known for her agile soprano and honest lyrics. Her sound, as soothing as it is rich, is rooted in a deep appreciation for mid-century soul and jazz, 90’s R&B, and re-imagined folk music.
“I Am Love,” released in October 2023, is the first single from Awakening Pt.II, Cecily’s eagerly anticipated continuation of the critically acclaimed Awakening Pt. 1. The album interweaves Cecily's life experiences with inspiration from the book All About Love by Black feminist writer Bell Hooks. The single specifically focuses on the importance of affirmations, as discussed in the text, with the heart – and title – from the track rooted in the power of reminding yourself: “I Am Love.”
