The Adam Hersh Trio presents original jazz fusion. Influenced by some of the most innovative minds in the genre—Chick Corea, Billy Childs, & Wayne Shorter—the group uplifts new creative voices with Adam Hersh on piano & Max Gerl on bass, accompanied by Corea & Holdsworth's alum Gary Novak on drums.

LA based pianist, keyboardist and composer Adam Hersh was born in Castaic, CA. Since graduating from CSUN, he has been active in the LA jazz scene, performing and recording with musicians like Bob Sheppard, Mike Moreno, Warren Wolf, Munir Hossn, Bill Holman, Gary Novak, Billy Childs, Andrew Renfroe, Joe LaBarbera and Gene Coye. Adam is a versatile musician, adept at playing modern, fusion and straight ahead originals and standards.

The U.S. Army Blues, part of the United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own,” is the premier jazz ensemble of the United States Army. After informal beginnings in 1970, this 19-piece ensemble became an official element of the Army Band in 1972. Comprised of exceptional jazz musicians from across the nation, the Army Blues strive to fulfill their mission through public concerts, educational outreach, and the preservation of the tradition of America’s unique art form: jazz. In collaboration with the Library of Congress, the Army Blues play seldom-performed yet historically significant music from the Library’s jazz archives.

The Baltimore School for the Arts Jazz Ensemble and Big Band perform the music of Duke Ellington, Sammy Nestico, Lakecia Benjamin, Brandon Woody, Maceo Parker, Cesar Orozco and more! The band will play one set of small group arrangements with a brief intermission, followed by a set of 3 big band tunes.
BSA is recognized as one of the top five public performing arts high schools in the country and as one of the best high schools in America for its rigorous college preparatory program.
