Noah Ford is a drummer and composer from St. Louis, Missouri. His compositional process has largely been inspired by other artists who play drums, including Makaya McCraven, Blaque Dynamite, Chris Dave, Tony Williams, and many more. Through his time as a performer in both St. Louis and Baltimore, Noah has had opportunities to share stages alongside Antonio Hart, Tim Green, Luis Perdomo, Camille Thurman, Charenee Wade, Darcy James Argue, Sean Jones and other inspiring musicians. For this performance, Noah will be premiering new music, as well as revisiting past compositions.

2nd Annual Rotunda Rocks Returns to Hampden Neighborhood this SpringFamily-friendly Night of Rockin’ Fun Begins May 3 and Runs Every Friday Until End of September
Whether you like to jam to rock, folk, blues, Indie, Latin or reggae, there is something for everyone as the second annual Rotunda Rocks concert series returns to Hampden this spring/summer (711 W 40th Street). This family-friendly FREE concert series, presented by MCB Real Estate, features live music on the plaza and a street festival atmosphere with delicious local food and drinks, fun games and local vendors on Fridays, 6-9 p.m. beginning May 3 and running until September 27. Rotunda Rocks is open to the public and welcomes families and pets. A portion of proceeds from beverage sales benefits the Maryland SPCA. Untethered explores the infinite sonic possibilities of the now while paying homage to the past and honoring their lineage. With their four years of playing together, the band moves as one. The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University presents Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana in a free, large-scale concert at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Known for its iconic opening “O Fortuna,” this exhilarating cantata sets 13th-century poetry to music, exploring themes of fate, fortune, and the human condition.
Guest conductor Andrew Grams leads the Peabody Symphony Orchestra, Peabody Hopkins Conservatory Chorus, NEXT Ensemble, Peabody Camerata, and Peabody Children’s Chorus. Peabody alumni Christina O’Malley, Jason Gonzalez, and Tim Mix will join the performance as vocal soloists.

The band will interpret new originals and arrangements of nostalgic music from Zak's childhood alongside his own interpretations of quintessential jazz songs. They'll bring a classic jazz quintet experience inspired by the chemistry and energy of bands like the first Miles Davis quintet, Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, and Vincent Herring and Eric Alexander’s work.
Zachary Catalano is a dedicated and versatile saxophonist whose musical journey is driven by a deep passion for connection, healing, and artistic expression. From a young age, Zak recognized the power of music to move people emotionally and bring people together. That belief has shaped every step of his path as a musician.
Zak currently studies at the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University under the mentorship of acclaimed saxophonist Tim Green. Zak is refining his technical abilities and expanding his artistic voice. Beyond traditional concert halls, Zak brings his music directly to the community. He has played in jazz trios and quartets around the tri-state area of New York. Zak has played at venues such as Ornithology Jazz Club in Brooklyn, New York, and the Pittsfield City Jazz Festival in Massachusetts. His performances include benefit events, such as fundraising efforts for Ukraine relief and contributions to local events, church services, and community celebrations.

They will be joined by bluesman, pianist Eli Yamin.
