Kingsville Independence Day Parade
The Greater Kingsville Civic Association, Inc. and The Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company will sponsor the annual Kingsville Independence Day Parade, on Saturday, July 3rd. Pre-parade music and celebration starts at 10 am, at the Judges viewing stand at the corner of Bradshaw and Jerusalem Roads, (sponsored by BrightView Senior Living and Greene’s Family Butcher Shop). A fun-filled hour of entertainment features Upper Falls Dance Academy, The Oriole Bird, Baltimore City Pipe Band, White Tiger Martial Arts, Alpha Athletics Cheer, and local country artist Dwayne Wilson. The 2021 parade will kick off 10:50 a.m. at the Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company on Bellvue Avenue (formation starting 9:00 a.m.), and will proceed down Bradshaw Road to Jerusalem Road, and finish at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Opening ceremonies will be held at the Judges viewing stand 11:00 a.m. presided by John Teal, Master of Ceremonies, with Jacob Johnson performing the National Anthem with the Aberdeen High School Band, (directed by Kaitlyn Wittman), to be coordinated with a “Fly Over” at 11:10 a.m. by the 175th Air Wing, Maryland Air National Guard. The White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company Color Guard will present the colors for the Pledge of Allegiance. The lineup of bands from Baltimore City Pipe Band, North Harford High School, Aberdeen High School, Edgewood High School, C. Milton Wright High School and Joppatowne High School, along with many other exciting entries, will participate in the spirit of this year’s theme: “From Liberty’s View”. This year’s Theme Winner of $100 is Lynn Eckenrode, a student from Redeemer Classical Christian School. The 2021 Grand Marshal is Bruce McCubbin, the longtime Master of Ceremonies of the parade. Parking available at St. John’s Episcopal Church and Grace Community Church. Bradshaw and Jerusalem Roads will be closed at 9:45 a.m. As usual, there will be NO RAIN DATE.
