America 250! History Fair
On Sunday, April 26, the Carrollton Manor Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) will co-host the America 250! History Fair in downtown Frederick, Md. As an America 250! event, this year’s History Fair will highlight the roles Frederick County and the state of Maryland played in the birth and development of our nation.
Beginning at noon, the opening ceremony will feature remarks from local and state dignitaries, as well as special guests. Following the opening, attendees will be able explore a lineup of more than 35 historic venues and organizations, meet passionate historical reenactors, and chat with experts in period attire, each bringing the past to life in their own unique way. This event will be hosted in partnership with the Frederick Chapter, NSDAR and the Sergeant Lawrence Everhart Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution (SAR).
