I would never call myself a shock jock like Howard Stern, but maybe for today only I’ll allow you to consider me a sock jock. That’s because at WYPR we’ve temporarily become sock purveyors this Giving Tuesday. For each pair of WYPR socks requested, a pair of socks will go to a person who needs them. One gift to support public radio, to help keep someone warm this winter, and give me an excuse to try on a Howard Stern “wig”.
