A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until noon. The National Weather Service is predicting 1 to 2 inches of snow in Baltimore, with up to an inch more south of the city, and possibly an inch less to the north. Frederick and areas west aren't expected to get a full inch.

Schools are CLOSED today in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Also closed are schools in: Anne Arundel County, Caroline County, Carroll County, Frederick County, Harford County, Howard County, Kent County, Montgomery County, Prince George's County, Queen Anne's County, and Talbot County.

DC offices of the Federal Governmentare on TWO HOUR DELAY, with the option for unscheduled leave and unscheduled telework. And a LIBERAL LEAVE POLICY is in effect until noon for Maryland state employees.
