Extra Innings - The Linn Hendershot Story, Winner of Best Documentary in The Maryland International Film Festival will be showing this week. Linn Hendershot was a Polio survivor and Hagerstown resident who defied the odds again and again to effect change and make a difference. At a time when disabled populations were considered “crippled” and doomed to a life of inertia, Linn used his powers of perseverance and persuasion to shift those perceptions and help others. He was here to make a difference and with the help of family and friends… he did.
