Background: For years, Intern John has been an advocate for the U.S military community. What started as a small-scale fundraising campaign for a veteran friend fighting cancer has turned into something even greater. Today, John is raising funds for Fisher House Foundation, which is best known for its network of 92 comfort homes around the country where families of wounded, injured or ill services members and veterans can stay at no cost while their loved one is receiving treatment at a VA medical center or hospital.
