Letters Without Limits: A Legacy Letter Reading
Letters Without Limits is a newly recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in Baltimore, whose mission is to preserve the legacy of hospice, palliative, and rehabilitation patients through the creation of what they call a “Legacy Letter.”
Pairing trained local volunteers with patients in a process inspired by dignity therapy, volunteers help patients reflect on their lives and shape their stories into a meaningful written letter. These Legacy Letters can be shared privately with loved ones or, if the patient chooses, published on the organization’s website as part of a monthly issue to inspire and connect with others: https://letterswithoutlimits.org/
Bird in Hand is delighted to welcome members of Letters Without Limits for a public Legacy Letter reading and Q&A. Please join us!
