Feature Artist at Arts By the Bay Gallery
Ellie Tryon Elgin, Harford County artist of Arts d’Tryon Studio will be the featured artists for the April through June Exhibit. She will be exhibiting 18 of her Plein Air Landscape paintings of Harford County. Why Plein Air Landscapes? Being out in the open-air painting brings me close to nature and all the beauty that surrounds us. It also reminds me of how fragile and precarious nature can be. As people, we are connected to nature and we have a huge impact on the forests, the trees, fields, and the waterways. How we take care of or develop the land for our use is important and through my art, I want to bring awareness of the treasure that is all around us. May we always remember to care for the land, so that it will take care of us. “Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” Albert Einstein For more than 50 years, Chesapeake Bay Foundation has fought vigilantly for healthy rivers, clean streams, and a saved Chesapeake Bay. Maryland is central to the Mid-Atlantic Watershed. As a native Marylander, I encourage everyone to help keep our Bay clean for future generations. All these paintings, that are for sale. A portion from each waterway painting sold will be a donation to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. ### Ellie Tryon Elgin, Arts d’Tryon Studio - Website: www.artsdtryon.com - Email: [email protected] For more information, press only: Ellie Tryon Elgin 410-790-7889 [email protected] For more information: Website – www.artsdtryon.com
