Black History Month Free Film Series at the B&O Presented by South Baltimore Gateway Partnership
In celebration of the Museum’s designation as a National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom site by the National Park Service, we our hosting three films in the 1884 Roundhouse on the topics of Slavery, the Underground Railroad, and freedom. The three movies this month, Amistad, Harriet, and Selma, spotlight the harsh reality of slavery, racial discrimination, and show the heroes that persevered. Admission is FREE 2/12 Amistad (Rated R) 2/20 Harriet (Rated PG-13) 2/27 Selma (Rated PG-13) Come in from the cold with a warm blanket! While some seating will be available, guests are may also come “picnic” style with blankets and bring snacks. *Please note that due to serious nature of the subject matter, children under the age of 10 are not recommended.
