Soulful but smooth, the female R&B group, Shadz of Soul hails from the Washington, DC area. The group formed in the early 90’s and consist of Anissa Hargrove, Farnetta Baker and Shawn Allen. Though flattering, yet inevitable the group is often compared to The Emotions, EnVogue and The Jones Girls. Their intricate harmonies and limitless vocal ability are what they are most recognized by. Individually and collectively, the group provides vocal assistance to International and National Recording Artists such as Patti Labelle, Chante Moore, Mike Howard, Jean Carne and the Grammy Winner, Gloria Gaynor.
