Preserving Baltimore's Architecture

Baltimore is an old city. It’s got arguably the oldest continually operating markets in the country, neighborhoods which were already neighborhoods when there were still pirates, and a tower where gunshot was made by dropping molten lead into water. These places are still here because we’ve worked to preserve them. For the last fifty years, Baltimore’s Commission for Historical and Architectural Preservation, or CHAP, has been part of that work. With Sheilah to talk about it is Eric Holcomb, who took over as CHAP's executive director in September.
