Greater Baltimore Medical Center is plotting a nearly $80 million expansion to its Towson complex, joining dozens of other hospitals across Maryland planning major facelifts.

The project is in the planning and design phase. The hospital plans to launch a capital campaign to raise about $30 million of the needed funds, Chessare said. The remaining $50 million will come from bond sales.
