Digital literacy and public education are prerequisites for the future of the American economy. We live in a digital age. Yet there is a digital divide in particular in underserved communities across the nation. The GOOD News is the Department of Education has announced its new National Educational Technology Plan which aims to close the digital divide. The plan is to ensure equitable access to digital education in the nation’s public schools.
