The Future of Food and A Festival for Foodies

A free, public conference this weekend at the American Visionary Arts Museum builds upon its current exhibit about the future of food. We hear from presenter Deborah Mizeur, the co-owner of Apotheosis Herb Farm on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Conference details available here

Also this weekend: a food festival in Baltimore features local artisans and restaurants. We peek behind the scenes of The Emporiyum with co-founder Sue-Jean Chun and speak to Kara Brook, Maryland beekeeper who uses honey and beeswax to create lollipops, lip balm, art, and candles. Event info here.
