We get an update from Baltimore Sun reporter, Yvonne Wenger, on progress lowering wait times at Baltimore’s Veterans Affairs office. Back in 2013 the office was found to be the slowest in the country at processing disability claims for servicemen and women. Then we speak to Lou Celli, director of the American Legion’s Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation Division, and Joe Sharpe, director of the Legion’s Employment and Education Division, about the challenges that veterans face as they transition back to civilian life.
