Traffic Fatalities

According to researchers at the Johns Hopkins University, traffic accidents will become the seventh leading cause of death globally by 2030 unless action is taken to improve road safety worldwide. We'll look at the most common causes of traffic fatalities and whether new technology, like self-driving cars, presents an answer. Our guests: Dr. Adnan Hyder, director of the Johns Hopkins International Injury Research Unit, and Dr. Kent Stevens, a trauma surgeon and an associate director of the unit.
