Strong City Baltimore will host the ninth annual Neighborhood Institute on Saturday, April 16th. The group focuses on community organizing and the event is a meeting of the minds for neighborhood leaders, nonprofit advocates, and community development professionals. The goal of the institute is to teach and share ideas with the hope that participants will be able to use the information to change their communities and improve their lives.
Karen Stokes is the CEO of Strong City Baltimore. Diane Bell McKoyis the President and CEO of Associated Black Charities. Bell-McKoy will lead a panel that kicks off the Neighborhood Institute. They both join Tom in-studio.
