Congressman Elijah Cummings (D., Md) joins Tom this morning. He has represented Maryland’s 7th District for the past 20 yrs. That district contains portions of Howard and Baltimore Counties as well as parts of the city of Baltimore. He is the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, which is the main investigative committee in the House of Representatives. Rep. Cummings is also a senior member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. He’ll be on the ballot later this month in the Democratic Primary. He has one opponent in that race, Adrian Petrus, who lists an address in Brentwood, MD on the State Board of Elections website. Rep.
