Baltimore author Jill Morrow set her new novel, "Newport", in a seaport with a picturesque historic district, a harbor full of yachts, and occasional sightings of sailors in smart military uniforms. Readers cannot spare much attention for the town though, because they’re pulled immediately into a complex drama of rich people behaving badly—or, at least behaving mysteriously, even beyond the grave.
The creator of this intricate plot and the characters who move it along is Jill Morrow, who earned her bachelors in history at Towson University and her law degree at the University of Baltimore. Jill Morrow joins Sheilah in the studio to talk about her book.
Morrow will be speaking about the book at the Ivy Bookshop on Wednesday night at 7.
