Carolyn Black-Sotir may be known as a television host on Maryland Public Television or other stations, but she's also a classical and cabaret singer. You’ll have the chance to hear her this week, when she presents the music of Stephen Sondheim at Germano’s Piattini in Baltimore’s Little Italy. Carolyn Black-Sotir is something of a specialist in Sondheim’s music, and the show she has put together takes a look in particular at the women in Sondheim’s shows, as well as some of the famous Broadway icons who have played those women.
Carolyn Black-Sotir will present "There’s Always a Woman—According to Stephen Sondheim" at Germano's Piattini on Thursday. Dinner starts at 6:00, and the show gets underway at 7:30.
