The singer-songwriter Pam Ortiz has collaborated with Robert Earl Price to create a musical based on "Cane", a famous novel by Harlem Renaissance writer Jean Toomer. The new musical inspired by the book is called "Red Devil Moon." Ortiz and Price join Tom in the studio this morning.
On Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, the Pam Ortiz band will perform the songs in Chestertown with a Gospel trio called Sombarkin. Robert Earl Price will narrate the concert.
