The Station North Arts District is the home of many murals being displayed as part of Open Walls Baltimore 2. Tom Hall takes a tour with the artist Gaia, the curator of the project.
The project has been criticized for featuring the work of many non-Baltimore artists. "We continue to put Baltimore on the map," said Gaia in response. "I am a citizen of the world, and I want to bring that capacity back to the city I love so much."
The closing party to celebrate Open Walls Baltimore is tonight, May 30, from 6:00 to 11:00 pm, at 1500 North Charles Street. More details here.
