The city of Baltimore owns many historic buildings and structures: the Shot Tower, the War Memorial Building, the Roland Park Water Tower. Some, like the Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower, are in use and well-cared for. But, other historic buildings haven’t fared quite as well. They sit vacant and cost the city money to maintain. So, what should the city do with them?
That’s the subject of a talk that Johns W. Hopkins, executive director of Baltimore Heritage, will give for the Baltimore City Historical Society in mid-May. SheilahKast talks with him about it.
